  • Ask about allergens when you order: US food law names nine major allergens (milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy and sesame), and kitchens can tell you which dishes contain them.

  • For table service a tip of 15–20% is customary; at counter-service places tipping is optional.

We have ordered here in the past and didn't like it but tried to give them another chance last night. My 9 year old refused to eat her food and said her sesame chicken was soggy like it was old and reheated. Boneless ribs barely had any sauce on them, it was thin with no flavor. And the white rice was dry and felt reheated. My husband ate most of his chicken because he was starving but told me to never order from there again. I wish we were actually able to eat the food we paid for. It was like throwing money right into the trash. We were Highly disappointed in the food and will not be ordering from there again. Only plus side was the woman that answered the phone and took our order last night was very nice.

This is by far the best Chinese food I have eaten, in over 50 years of eating Chinese food. Fresh, clean, without that taste of overly used oil so many Chinese restaurants can have. I also notice many places have food that tastes as though it has been reheated as opposed to freshly prepared. But not here. In addition, I have never eaten lo mein, as early on I found it greasy, overcooked, strongly flavored, no matter where it came from At BFIT, it is absolutely delicious. I love noodles and pasta, so this is a particularly happy find for me. I also find many Chinese restaurants using inferior chicken in their chicken dishes, stringy, chewy or overly cooked. The chicken in our chicken and broccoli was tender, fresh and delicious. The vegetable rice with egg was fresh, not gluey and the veggies appeared and tasted freshly cooked, not frozen or reheated repeatedly. Very grateful to have found a restaurant we can count on for good, fresh food every time we order. They also give you a free gift of food with your order, example, we got 2 egg rolls with our order. In today's economy, where most places are cutting corners, this is welcome and refreshing. I strongly suggest Best Food In Tow

I’ve been coming to Best Food for several years now. I’ve always been happy with the food and the staff. But like others have said things have not been the same recently. Unless it’s fried chicken or rice, you’re being sold mush drenched in sauces that don’t taste good. Sorry best food but I won’t be going back anymore. It was convenient but it is no longer worth the money. Not every American likes their food drenched in sauces. Some of us had mothers who knew how to cook good tasting food without having to be saved by a sauce of some sort. Disappointing.

My family has been coming here for MANY yrs. Most of the time food is good. A few days ago we ordered and it was I think the best it's been in a while so we decided to reorder the same exact items tonight. Needless to say everything was so Bland even the rice and chicken was overcooked tasted totally different and so Bland. So disappointed I had to call them and have one of the meals remade. I just couldn't eat it. My husband dealt with his because he just got home from work and was hungry. Well even my order that was remade was still so Bland at least it wasn't overcooked this time but I don't even want to eat it because it's tasteless. I wish they would stay consistent because when they are good they are good. Even after explaining to her it had no taste and was dry or overcooked it's still the same minus the overcooked so if you're thinking about going tonight. Just be aware your order may not taste the same

I've been a long time customer of best food in town since I moved to South Tom's River. And overall in that time frame, I've enjoyed their food. But as of recent; there's a reason we stop going here as our choice chinese restaurant. I understand increasing prices to meet demands in our current economy, but the portion sizes of the food has gone done drastically within the last couple years. It shouldn't be like that. Price goes up, amount of food down.
